Barbed 16mm Control Valve 

The barbed control valve is ideal for restricting flow or turning off the flow to certain parts of the system.  The valve can be used in many applications and has a high level of reliability.  The barbed ends have been designed to fit 16mm outside diameter LDPE pipe or to fit 13mm inside diameter pipe.  The barbs are much more rigid than domestic valves and will require the pipe to be heated in order to insert the valve inside the pipe comfortably.  Once fitted the valve is rated to 6 bar so in most cases the joint is stronger than the 16mm pipe.
